With the permission and
co-operation of the pastor and members of St. Peter's and St. James' congregations,
this website is dedicated to the Glory of God in recognition of a l l the
members - past and present - of both congregations and also in loving memory of the
pioneers and ancestors from former West Prussia and other German provinces, who were
amongst the first Lutheran settlers in and around Sullivan Township, Grey County, Ontario,
Canada, and who more than 130 years ago - firm in their Faith - on their way into
Christ's eternal Church Triumphant - founded St. Peter's and St. James' Lutheran
churches - knowingly believing and rejoicing in Him: "Gott allein in der Höh' sei Ehr'! - Eine feste Burg ist unser Gott!" |
